Brad holds a doctorate in the area of Missional Ecclesiology; his doctoral thesis was on assisting existing congregations in transitioning in a missional direction. He also serves on the National Leadership team for Forge America Mission Training Network. Brad is the co-author of Missional Essentials, a twelve-week small group study guide, The Missional Quest: Becoming a Church of the Long Run, Next Door As It Is In Heaven and Covocational Chuch Planting. He and his wife have three children and have been foster parents to more than fifty other kids. He blogs regularly at missionalchurchnetwork.com.

JR has been passionately planting churches on the East/West Coast that value tight-knit community, life-forming discipleship, locally-rooted presence and boundary-crossing mission for over 25 years. He’s the author of Creating a Missional Culture, co-author of The Church as Movement, and writes for numerous websites and journals. He co-founded the Missio Alliance and The Praxis Gathering. He has a Masters of Arts in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary and is working on his PhD at the University of Manchester. He loves to surf, travel, read, skateboard, meet new people, and often attends the Sundance Film Festival.

With over three decades experience as a pastor and church planter, Lance is a writer, coach, and consultant who has designed unique training systems currently being used by networks, seminaries, and leaders throughout the world. Lance holds a Masters Degree in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary and has written or co-authored several books: UnLeader, Missional Essentials, The Missional Quest: Becoming a Church of the Long Run, and Next Door As It Is In Heaven. His newest book, The Starfish and The Church, is coauthored with Ori Brafman and Rob Wegner and will be released in the Fall.

Mid-afternoon on Saturday, we’re orchestrating a number of opportunities to get your feet wet in our city. Throughout the Springs, different expressions of the church are participating with God on mission in different but profound ways. The goal is to be immersed and inspired to join God on mission in your unique context. You’ll want to bring at least $10 in cash for lunch.
